Validation Continues

I started with a very complicated model for validation, but it keeps being reduced.  It seems now that I’m just about going to validate the most basic regression model possible.  Differences between schools exist ANOVA significance and there is a high correlation between the predictive assessment and the standardized assessment.  The problem comes in that there is no signifcant difference between means after adjusting through regression, an ANCOVA model.  This actually shows even more predicitve validity.  If there is difference in the mean effects between grades, and this difference is found in both predictive and standardized assessments, we have a valid test.  I think I’m going to go with this for my next presentation.
